Clarification using various type of clarifiers like HRSCC, Tube settler and lamella clarifier. Clarifier are used to remove suspended solid and turbidity from raw water. Main applications are river water treatment, waste water treatment and silica removal.
Filtration is based on depth filtration process that removes particulate material suspended in liquid by passing liquid through a composite filter bed comprised of different grade of sand and anthracite. Granular activated carbon filter is based on an absorption process that involves passing liquid through a bed of granular activated carbon. This removes organic compounds as well as residual organic compound present in raw water. It is also used to remove excess chlorine, color and taste from the raw water.
